Give every room a colour and every box a number. Write both on two sides and the top, and keep a simple list of what’s in each number.
Pack heavy things in small boxes and light things in big ones. Fill gaps with towels and linens instead of paper.
When you arrive, put a coloured sticker on each room’s door. Whoever is carrying boxes will thank you.
